DEBRA ABRAHAM

Debra Abraham is a passionate advocate for justice, healing, and cultural restoration. With over 30 years of experience in social services and child welfare, she co-founded the Unique Get Together Society (UGTS) in 2014 alongside her son, Cesar. Guided by Indigenous teachings and a commitment to inclusive care, Debra has built UGTS into a vibrant charitable organization supporting children, families, and communities across B.C.
Her leadership blends traditional wisdom with visionary action, offering land-based, trauma-informed programs rooted in equity, cultural integrity, and love. Currently pursuing her Master’s in Human Rights and Social Justice, Debra continues to lead with courage, compassion, and a deep belief in the power of community to transform systems.
