UGTS has partnered with CDI College to bring you the Early Childhood Education program. The Early Childhood Education (Basic) certificate program meets the academic requirements necessary to apply to the Early Childhood Educator Registry for provincial certification as an early childhood educator (ECE) in British Columbia.
Early childhood educators work in licensed daycare centers,
before- and after-school programs, nursery schools, preschool
facilities, parent-participation preschools, integrated daycares,
and family service centers. These job sites can be
located in schools, community institutions, or workplaces
offering daycare to their employees, both private and public,
may vary widely in their nature and services.

Academic Requirements:
-
High school graduation or equivalent
(From an English language teaching institution)
OR
-
Mature student status
(19 years of age upon starting classes, and pass college’s
English admissions test.)
