Healing House
"All healing is first a healing of the heart."
The All Nations Healing Lodge (ANHL) is an under-construction Indigenous-based drug and alcohol treatment facility located in Kamloops, BC. The building has 55 rooms, amenities, a large kitchen and dining area, and an outdoor garden space.
The treatment program will incorporate Indigenous modalities and frameworks to guide the general direction of activities. These include, but are not limited to, the Seven Grandfather
Teachings of the Anishinaabe, Mino-bimaadiziwin (the good life), the Native Wellness Assessment and First Nations Mental Wellness Continuum (by NNADAP), On-the-land Healing
Initiatives, Indigenous Focusing-Oriented Therapy, and various forms of Indigenous spirituality.
