Service Description

The adventure Join us in exploring the scenic snowshoe trails surrounding Kamloops while learning about the local indigenous culture and land. Your guide, Michelle of the Tahltan Nation, will take you on a four-hour adventure through the beautiful and peaceful trails located on traditional unceded territory of the T'Kemlups te Secwepmec people. We strongly embrace that, while in the Stake Lake area, we are operating in the unceded territory of many Indigenous tribes. In fact, the Stake Lake area is at a crossroads between the territories of a great number of our tribes and it is important that this is both acknowledged and honoured. This adventure is perfect for those wanting to get some exercise while learning about the history of the area! The trip will take between 3-4 hours and we will travel a total of 4 kilometers.
